Nov 13: We have now compiled close to 350,000 entries in the East Kent Families Database and have now taken the decision to make the database available for purchase on CD-ROM and DVD. The database is currently in production and will be ready for shipment by mid-December 2007. Please visit here to reserve your copy of the database. |

Nov 13: In order to allow sufficient opportunity to fully update the information for our East Kent Families Database we have temporarily suspended requests for lookups. Free database lookups will be available again as of 7 January 2008. |

Oct 15: I am pleased to announce the launch of the next records available via our Document Retrieval Service. Available as of now are baptisms, marriages, marriage banns, and burials performed within England and Wales. Throughout October and the remainder of this year I will be adding new document categories and countries to the service. Please keep checking this page for additions to the service. If there is a document that you are in need of and cannot wait, email us and we will arrange to obtain the document for you. |

Oct 3: Finally! I am pleased to announce the proper launch of a new service offered by Ancestry Solutions. Our Document Retrieval Service is in its fledging growth stages. Currently available under this service are civil Birth, Marriage and Death certificates issued for English and Welsh events and church rites performed within Germany. Throughout October I will be adding new document categories and countries to the service but next up will be church rites performed within England, Wales and Europe as well as Italian civil registration documents. Please checking this page for additions to the service. Or, if there is a document that you are in need of and cannot wait, email us and we will see if we can arrange to obtain the document for you. |

May 5: Kent Research Planning Aid has now been updated to add links to parish pages available on the Kent OPC website and additions to the East Kent Families Database. |

Feb 10: I have begun the task of up-dating the Ancestry Solutions website. Many pages have been up-dated with the new format, colours and logo. But, many pages are yet to be finished. A new site map has been constructed and a new page commenced for answering FAQs about research.I am also slogging through the links on the web site to correct any broken or missing links. As part of the re-vamping I am attempting to fix the issues that occur while viewing this website in FireFox and Opera. Watch for more developments over the next month. |

Feb 8: A major and significant loss in our family during mid-2006 drastically reduced the time I was able to devote to operating Ancestry Solutions. Very little progress was accomplished on any front while I attended to settling the estate of the departed and taking over, and integrating into my already full schedule, the full day-to-day duties and responsibilities of caring for my mother, her health, her financial affairs, our combined three cats and the household. Although day-to-day life is still quite full, at least now, I am able to move slowly back into a more consistent work routine. To all my clients and contacts, thank you for you patience and forebearance during this most difficult chapter in my family. I will be contacting each of you within the next few weeks. |
