Migrated to Australia 1898. Had 13 children. Two children died in England prior to leaving.
A witness to the marriage was Lena RUCK (possible sister, sister in law or paternal relation). At the time of Agnes marriage, John RUCK had died and on Agnes Marriage Cert it states that his profession was "merchant" his widow and Mary was living in Old Kent Road.Agnes Elizabeth had 2 daughters who as adults recounted stories of hunting for bluebells in the woods around Tulse HIll, Surrey.Agnes and her husband James AUSTEN, their 13 children and James' parents all migrated to Australia in 1898. 2 children died in the UK prior to embarkation and 1 more child was born in Australia. There seems to also be some possible connection to a Lord Mayor of London - Sir William ROSE, but that is still shrouded in mystery. | RUCK, Agnes Elizabeth (I8054)

These documents are for property in Pasco County, Florida and are for Donald Stewart Moore formerly the husband of Helen Nicol Youngson, and his second wife, Elizabeth. It would appear that they probably married circa 1985 and he likely died circa 2010.

No luck with the Star, I am afraid...I tried exact searches for “Moore Donald” and “Moore Helen” in the deaths section --- no luck with either. There were only a few hits for each, but none were your people. Then I tried a search for all words Helen Moore and Youngson – in the social notices and the Births/deaths sections. Again, nobody belonging to you. LAC stands for Leading Aircraftman. I tried a search for the words Aircraftman and Moore on the same page in social notices and Births/deaths. I didn’t find your man. All searches from 1945 onwards...Then I looked in the Library and Archives Canada WW1 soldiers data base to see if there were any soldiers surnamed Moore, with initials W B. He would likely have been the right age for that war. I found a few, and only one from Toronto. However, this man was born in 1881, so might be too old to be your W B Moore? Walter Booker Moore born 1897, from Burlington, OntarioWesley Blake Moore 1891, Napanee, OntarioWilliam B Moore 1883, New BrunswickWilliam Berczy Moore 1869, Vancouver, BCWilliam Bernice Moore 1895, Galt, Ontario (online tree says he married Alice Maria Hogg – your D S isn’t listed as one of their children)William Bray Moore 1881, Toronto. Found his marriage in 1905, Toronto, to Lucy Mary Field. He was 24 and she was 25 in 1905, so might be too old to be your man’s parents.... Should be able to find them in 1911 census – if they turn out to be your people. William Buckley Moore 1897, USA That is all I can think of at the moment. If you get a name from the Toronto Library, I can search again... especially if you can narrow down a time frame for his death. Will do a quick search for Moore Don (in case he used a short form of his name) and a couple of other ideas... The fact that we can't find any notices, doesn't mean that they aren't there. The findmypast site is a great resource, but its search by word/phrase function isn't perfect. I can't find my parents' wedding announcement or some of my cousins' birth announcements by using their names as search terms. I can only locate these by date... Lucky that I know the dates!!!

Re: Moore and Toronto Star
Hi Susan,It looks like I will be able to go to the downtown Reference Library on Saturday. It is very close to where I get my hair cut , and I just made an appointment for Saturday afternoon. After I am done at the salon, I should have about an hour before the library closes. I will find all the Walter Moores in the 1944, 1945 and 1946 Directories. Your man must be one of that set. I will follow them for a few years, then probably skip to every 5 years. I can also check for D S Moore after 1950 - just in case. I fully understand that finding Walter B is a means to an end. He alone isn't important... it is his obituary that you need. I only brought William Booker Moore to your attention because his middle intial and age seemed to fit your search parameters. Also, the name Stewart seemed to figure prominently in his family and at least 2 members of this family lived in Toronto. I know that it was pure speculation and I am glad that you have been able to rule this person out. Excellent! If your Walter B died in Toronto after 1945, then he very likely has an obit in either the Star or the Globe. The Star was far more popular for obits, but some people used the Globe. I have just had a look in the Globe online site (also free with my library card) for an obituary for "Moore Walter" - exact phrase. Again, no luck. As I said before, the search by name/word facility isn't foolproof on either the Star or the Globe sites. Just because we can't find anything yet, doesn't mean that it isn't there...

One of my ancestors, Annie Harlow, married an Elias Clatworthy in 1900. He was recorded in the 1901 Census as being born in the US in 1873 and was a corporal in the field artillery. They are absent from the 1911 census. Do you think this is the same Elias Clatworthy?
If you have any information on Annie Harlow it would be a great help.
All I have is Annie Catherine Harlow born 1877 Ash Kent, married Elias Clatworthy 1900 Thanet Kent.
They Had 4 children
1) Jess born Elham Kent 1901 married David Chatten ward born 1894 London 30 June 1922 Frontenac, Quebec, Canada
2) Helen Nellie born 1904 Belford married James Leo Mc Kee
