Whole estate was left to John Ruck's, his brother's, children Francis, Mary, John, William and George in equal shares. As Charles was not mentioned it would be likely that Charles had died as a young child. Simon Ruck appointed his brother John Ruck as Executor.

About 1668, Thomas Cormier, about 32 years old, married Marie-Madeleine Girouard, daughter of François Girouard and Jeanne Aucoin. Once established at Port-Royal, Thomas and Marie-Madeleine were among the first colonists/settlers at Beaubassin, where their son Pierre was born March 25, 1682. Pierre Cormier married Catherine LeBlanc about 1702, the daughter of Jacques LeBlanc and Catherine Hébert. The eldest of their children was named after his father. Pierre Cormier married Cécile Thibodeau, daughter of Jean Thibodeau and Marguerite Hébert on July 17, 1730 at Grand-Pré. In 1863 his first known child was born: Florence M. at Seasalter. By 1871 William and family, now including two sons - Henry Thomas, born during 1865 and Albert W., born during 1869 - were living at Lime Cottages. William had, since 1861, taken up dredging.
