Given that there are a number of Charlotte Martin's all christened at Maidstone around the 1842 mark, her marriage certificate is going to have to be seen in the hopes that one or more of the witnesses are related to her. Her father's name is likely going to be James and there are two James Martin's that christen a Charlotte at Maidstone within a year of each other. So the witnesses on the marriage are going to be critical to resolving the question of Charlotte's parentage.
