      Former Wellington Director
      Mr. William Giles Bowerman of Williton, who died on February 21st at the age of 70 spent all his working life at Wellington. Entering the employ of Messrs. Price Bros., bedding manufacturers, at the age of 14, he was connected with them for 46 years, being a director of the firm when he retired in 1934.

      The funeral took place on Friday a service at deceased's home preceding interment at St. Decuman's Church, Watchet. The Rev. B. Heseltine officiated. The mourners were: Mrs. W. G. Bowerman (wife), Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Hann (son-in-law and daughter), Elwyn and David Brooks Dawlish (grandchildren), Mr. P. Bower, Wellington (brother), Mr. and Mrs. A. Thorne, Yeovil (brother-in-law and sister), Mr. B. Salter, Wellington (brother-in-law), Mr. H. collinson, Bristol (uncle), Mrs. H. Hann, Stogumber. Messrs. Price Bros. & Co., Ltd., Wellington were represented by Mr. F. Price, Miss G. Holley, Mr. E. Smith, Mr. E. Chilcott and Mr. L. Cutler. Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Brooks and Miss W. Bowerman (Dawlish) daughters and son-in-law and Mr. H. Bowerman (Swansea) were unable to be present owing to illness. Another brother Mr. S. Bowerman resides in America.
